Rev. Dr. Daniel F. Flores is a newly elected member of the ATLA Board of Directors. He has over twenty years of experience serving local churches and para-church ministries in Connecticut, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas, and Wisconsin. He has taught history, theology, and religion courses in the USA, Argentina, the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, England, Mexico, and Peru. Dr. Flores is a subject matter expert in American religious history and the Methodist / Wesleyan tradition. He is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, a former member of the World Methodist Council, and a former Director of Studies for the Charles Wesley Heritage Centre in Bristol, England. He is married to Rev. Thelma Herrera Flores, a Deacon in the United Methodist Church, and adjunct professor of religion at Texas Lutheran University.
