Morton Library, Union Presbyterian Seminary
Instructional Services Librarian

I perform information literacy instruction, manage both the streaming and physical A/V collection, maintain my library's makerspace, plan programming events and create many of the libguides for my institution. I am part of a fantastic team of librarians, where I manage our Instructional Resource Center and coordinate our information literacy/fluency programming, workshops, and asynchronous interventions.

Personally, I enjoy gardening, medieval re-creation and rpg gaming (ttrpg, computer, and console). My leisure reading tastes tend towards SF&F and cozy British mysteries. I am a crazy pet lady, with 4 cats and a dog, and I (sometimes) live way out in the rural boonies, but commute to the city to work, shop and play. And, right now, I am learning tons about home improvement as I am slowly changing the house my great-grandfather built to suit the needs of a Gen-Xer in the 21st century.

My research interests include the effect of genre fiction on empathy training, aliteracy among college students and their later adult lives, and using ttrpgs to improve empathy. So, a lot about reading and empathy. :-)
